Reference Guide: 11.2 Audio Playback and Formatting Shortcuts

It is recommended that you work with focus in the Audio Pane; this allows you to use the simple shortcuts:
 

  • Space
:Play/Stop playing
  • Enter
:Insert Section Break
  • Backspace
:Remove Section Break (Behaviour changes when recording)
  • Left-Arrow
:Skip Backwards to Previous Chunk
  • Right-Arrow
:Skip Forwards to Next Chunk
  • Home
:Goes to Section Boundary Cursor position (Audio Pane)
 
  • Shift Page-Down/Up (Fn Up/Down)
:Select Section
  • Shift Left/Right-Arrow
:Select Chunk
     

    In other Panes you can use the generic shortcuts:
     

     

    • Ctrl Space
    :Play/Stop playing
    • CMD Enter
    :Insert Section Break
    • CMD SHIFT Enter
    :Remove Section Break
    • CMD [
    :Skip Backwards to Previous Chunk
    • CMD ]
    :Skip Forwards to Next Chunk
     
    • CMD Alt Down/Up
    :Select Section
       

      The following shortcuts can be used with the focus in any pane:

      :Split Chunks
      • CMD M
      :Merge Chunks
      • CMD SHIFT ,
      :Slow Playback Down
      • CMD SHIFT .
      :Speed Playback Up
      • CMD R
      :Record/Stop recording
      • CMD SHIFT +
      :Increase Volume
      • CMD SHIFT -
      :Decrease Volume
