Audio Notetaker supports the following audio file formats:

• *.wav
• *.wma
• *.opus
• *.ogg
• *.mp3
• *.aac
• *.m4a
• *.mp4
• *.mov
• *.pencast

All audio files are converted to our internal format OPUS when you import; see Audio File Conversion for more details.
 

WMA files can now be imported and played without the use of 3rd party applications. You may be asked to activate this when you first run Audio Notetaker or when you first import a file containing WMA audio.
 

You will only be able to import the audio part of an mp4, mov or pencast file. And not every mp4 or mov file can be imported - but most can be.
