Reference Guide: 7.4 Extract Text From Slides

If you have   imported PowerPoint or PDF slides you can extract any 'accessible text' from them into either the Reference Pane or Text Pane.

To extract text from a slide, you can:

Right-click on the slide and select Extract Slide Text → 'Send to Text Pane' or 'Send to Reference Pane'

OR  if you want to extract the text from all slides, you can:

Click
in  either the Text or Reference Pane, and then select Extract text: all slides from the Image or Text side panel. If you only want to extract the slide text in the selected section, you can instead use 'Extract text: thisslide' from the side panel.

You can then use Audio Notetaker's
Text To Speech  to read back your text. Or if you use other screenreader software then this will enable it to read the text on your slides from within Audio Notetaker/

If you already have text in the pane you wish to copy
in to , then Audio Notetaker will append the extracted text.
